What we're doing at Chewton Common Playgroup

UPDATED: Cultivation street

4 October 2021

Cultivation street is a national competition to get people outdoors and gardening.

We applied to the competition to grow your best.

We were given bags of miracle grow compost and had to do something special with them.

The children built planters from duplo and then planted them.

We were shortlisted by the judges and it also went to the peoples vote.

A great achievement.

Well done children.

UPDATE:

We won the competition and were featured in the Daily Express (see photos). We have won a £1000 and will use this to plant an orchard!
